The ECS1020 Series is Edgecore's new line of unmanaged switches. The ECS1020-16T/24T models provide 16/24 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, while the ECS1020-10P features 9 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and 1 SFP port. The ECS1020-16P offers 16 PoE-capable 10/100/1000BASE-T ports. These switches deliver Gigabit Ethernet connectivity from the network core to the edge and to individual desktops. Offering up to 10 times the speed of 100 Mbps networks, they significantly reduce transfer times for large data files and enhance bandwidth-intensive applications, thereby improving overall network performance. Support for jumbo frames up to 9K bytes allows more efficient data transmission. Easy to install, the switches are an ideal solution for seamless network transition with 10/100/1000 Mbps Auto-Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X ports. Not only are the ports triple-speed, but all ports can connect directly to a workstation or another switch without needing crossover cables. With non-blocking wire-speed switching, the ECS1020 Series is built to meet the growing performance needs of today’s bandwidth-hungry applications.
When two 802.3az-compliant switches are connected, ECS1020-16T / 24T / 10P / 16P can achieve power savings of up to 61%, 65%, 46%, and 69% respectively.

ECS1020-10P / 16P support IEEE 802.3af PoE, delivering power over standard Cat5 cabling to connected devices such as VoIP phones, wireless access points, and IP surveillance cameras. The total PoE power budget is up to 140W for ECS1020-10P and 300W for ECS1020-16P.
