The PLANET WDAP-W7200AC is a cost-effective corporate PoE access point that features the latest 802.11ac wireless technology, advanced management functions, and strong encryption standards. Designed to meet today’s demands for high performance and security, the WDAP-W7200AC includes multiple SSIDs, WPA/WPA2, RADIUS MAC authentication, and more. With female reverse-polarity SMA connectors, the WDAP-W7200AC can be properly connected to external antennas and boosters, making it suitable for wireless environments such as warehouses, campuses, and enterprises.
Outstanding 11ac Wireless Technology
The WDAP-W7200AC supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band standards with 2T2R MIMO technology, providing wireless speeds up to 300+866Mbps (2.4GHz+5GHz). This is up to 16 times faster than 11a access points on the 5GHz band and 5.5 times faster than 11g access points on the 2.4GHz band. It is also equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port. Compared to general wireless APs, the WDAP-W7200AC provides higher transmission rates and reduced interference, improving data throughput for network applications. Its high-speed performance makes it ideal for handling multiple HD video streams, high-resolution online gaming, stereo music, VoIP, and data transmission simultaneously with stability and smoothness.
High-Gain External Antennas and 11ac Technology Deliver Excellent Performance
The WDAP-W7200AC is equipped with 5dBi detachable high-gain antennas that provide strong signals and excellent coverage, even in wide or challenging environments. With RP-SMA connectors, it supports external antennas such as omni-directional, directional, or higher-gain antennas, enabling various highly reliable applications. Adjustable transmission power allows administrators to increase or decrease output flexibly for different environments, reducing interference and optimizing performance. To deliver ultra-high-speed performance, the WDAP-W7200AC uses IEEE 802.11ac technology to extend 802.11n 40MHz channel bonding to 80MHz, along with 256-QAM modulation, achieving data rates up to 867Mbps on the lower-interference 5GHz band. Additionally, it eliminates the 100Mbps Fast Ethernet bottleneck by including a Gigabit LAN port, enabling users to fully benefit from high-speed wireless connections. IEEE 802.11ac also optimizes the MU-MIMO mechanism to serve multiple devices simultaneously.

The WDAP-W7200AC features a highly reliable industrial wall-mount design, allowing it to be securely mounted on walls. For security, in addition to 64/128-bit WEP encryption, the WDAP-W7200AC integrates WPA/WPA2, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, and 802.1x RADIUS authentication to secure and protect the wireless LAN. It also supports wireless MAC filtering and SSID broadcast control to enhance wireless network security and prevent unauthorized access. The WDAP-W7200AC supports multiple SSIDs (up to 10 sets). Furthermore, the Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) mechanism enhances QoS over wireless connections, prioritizing multimedia traffic such as online gaming and video streaming for improved performance.

The WDAP-W7200AC supports AP, WDS Bridge, and Repeater modes, providing flexibility for different deployment needs when building a wireless network. Compared with standard wireless access points, it offers stronger and more flexible features for wireless clients.

Compliant with the IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus standard, the WDAP-W7200AC can receive power and network connectivity through a single UTP cable.
