The Edgecore ECS4100-12PH switch is an 8-port PoE Gigabit Ethernet access switch with 2 combo ports and 2 FE/1G uplink SFP ports. The switch is ideal for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Multiple System Operators (MSOs) to deliver triple-play services and up to Gigabit bandwidth to home users. The PoE functionality can be used to connect Wi-Fi access points or IP surveillance devices for shared access point services. It is also ideal for SMB, enterprise, and campus networks that connect IP phones, Wi-Fi APs, and IP security cameras. The ECS4100-12PH switch is packed with features that deliver high availability, comprehensive security, strong multicast control, and advanced QoS to the network edge while maintaining simplified management. The switch also supports advanced IPv6 management, IPv6 security, and IPv6 multicast control to accommodate the growing deployment of IPv6. ISPs can extend services to home and business users by providing a more reliable and flexible network with service-level agreements through ITU-T G.8032 ERPS, L2 VPNs, and enhanced OAM (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) functions. This is the first Edgecore PoE switch to support Ultra PoE IEEE 802.3bt up to 60W per port.
