The SFP Gigabit Ethernet module can be installed in PLANET Switch and Media Converter products with a 1000Base-SX / LX SFP interface.
The deployment distance can be extended from 550m (Multi-Mode, LC) up to 120 kilometers (Single-mode, LC).
SFP transceivers are hot-swappable and can be replaced while running. You can plug or unplug the transceivers to any SFP port without shutting down the switch/media converter.
MGB-T Series:
The 1000Base-SX / LX transceivers with 1000Base-SX / LX SFP interfaces are an ideal solution for industrial equipment operating in a wide temperature range from -40℃ to 75℃. The deployment distance can be extended from 550m (Multi-Mode, LC) to 10 / 30 / 70 kilometers (Single-Mode, LC).
