MGB Family consists of Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver modules specially designed for high-performance integrated bidirectional data connection over single-mode optical fiber. These transceiver modules are compatible with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and are hot-swappable. They provide a way to easily install into SFP MSA-compliant ports without interrupting the operation of the main equipment at any time.
MGB Family: SFP Mini-GBIC Gigabit Ethernet modules can be installed in PLANET Switch products with the SFP Mini-GBIC interface. The transmission distance can be extended from 100 meters (TP), 550 meters (Multi-Mode, LC), up to 120 kilometers (Single-Mode, LC).
