Connects serial Modbus devices to the Ethernet network

A single-port gateway that carries Modbus devices with RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 interfaces onto a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network. It converts the Modbus RTU/ASCII master side into a Modbus TCP slave, and belongs in systems that monitor DCS, PLC, HMI, power meters and sensors from a distance.

Three serial interfaces on one port

The same serial port handles RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 connections, and covers 2-wire as well as 4-wire wiring on the RS-422/485 side.
