A 26-port Ethernet input, 24-port PoE+ switch provides power and data from a single point using Power over Ethernet (PoE) over a single CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable. It can be used for any 10/100Mbps connection and can be powered at industry-standard IEEE 802.3af/at levels. The advanced auto-detection algorithm supplies power to 802.3af/at powered devices. In addition, the PoE switch automatically determines PoE requirements, speed, and duplex. Easy to operate and reliable. It also features a switch button to extend the Ethernet transmission distance of the 24 PoE Ethernet ports up to 250 meters, making installation more flexible. The PoE switch is ideal for supplying power to PoE devices such as IP cameras, WLAN access points, IP phones, and office access control systems, providing a total solution for Ethernet applications in different environments.

Extended Data Transmission Distance
The Uptech Ethernet Switch series supports "Normal," "VLAN," and "Extend" operating modes via the DIP switch. In "Normal" mode, the ports operate as standard IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ (15.4W/30W). "VLAN" mode features port-based VLAN functionality, preventing the multicast or broadcast storm of an IP camera from negatively affecting other ports. In "Extend" mode, the switch reduces each port to a bidirectional 10 Mbps speed and supports PoE power output up to 30W for distances of up to 250 meters, beyond the 100m limit. This feature provides an additional solution for extending 802.3at PoE+ distance and saves installation costs by eliminating the need for extra switches or fiber cabling. Additionally, VLAN Isolation Mode isolates each port to prevent broadcast storms, and in "Extend" mode, it prevents DHCP spoofing.
Innovative Port-based VLAN Protection
The SW124FGP-A features "Port-based VLAN Protection," where ports can be isolated from each other via a DIP switch. This function helps prevent multicast or broadcast storms from an IP camera connected to one port from affecting other ports.
