In the X-Sense Smart Antenna matrix architecture, the RG-AP530-I AP with 24 internal array antennas dynamically selects up to 16.77 million different antenna combinations, effectively resolving dead zones and weak coverage areas of conventional antennas. Regardless of the position of the smart device, the X-Sense Smart Antenna customizes and aligns the optimal signal path to achieve full coverage.

Automatic Adjustment for Optimal Signals
Independent of the high mobility of the smart device, the AP always provides the best signal path, thanks to the revolutionary Ruijie X-Sense Smart Antenna technology. No manual adjustments are required, and the X-Sense Smart Antenna can automatically switch up to 300 signal paths within 1 ms. Even if the smart device moves rapidly, the X-Sense Smart Antenna continuously tracks the device and delivers the strongest signal strength.

Triple Signal Strength with the Same Power Source
The X-Sense Smart Antenna accurately calculates the position of a smart device and adjusts the signal strength accordingly. Compared to ordinary APs, it can triple the signal strength, ensuring the best wireless coverage. The increased signal power is not achieved by higher radiation but is used to compensate for loss during transmission and wall penetration. All AP transmission powers comply fully with safety standards.
Optimized Device Access for Smartphones and Tablets
Upon connecting, the X-Sense Smart Antenna quickly and accurately identifies any smart device. For low-power smartphones and tablet PCs, it enhances receiver sensitivity and performs retransmissions through dynamic signal balancing to ensure optimal access performance for all device types.

Interference is a major challenge in any wireless network deployment. When multiple APs are deployed in a small area, interference occurs. The X-Sense Smart Antenna automatically adjusts the wireless signal output direction based on user location. In case of interference, it chooses the optimal path to avoid it. Test results show that Ruijie’s X-Sense Smart Antenna can reduce interference by over 30% effectively.
High-Speed Wireless Performance with Sustainability
The RG-AP530-I AP supports dual-band, dual-radio design (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with access speeds up to 1.9 Gbps. The 5 GHz band supports the next-generation 802.11ac standard with a maximum connection speed of 1.3 Gbps. The 2.4 GHz band follows the original 802.11n protocol, supporting speeds up to 600 Mbps, and is fully backward compatible with a/b/g standards. Each AP provides up to 1.9 Gbps access speed, delivering at least 80% shorter data transfer times compared to traditional wireless connections for a truly high-speed user experience.
Energy-Efficient and Environmentally Friendly Design
The RG-AP530-I AP adopts advanced power-saving technologies such as single-antenna standby, dynamic MIMO power saving, advanced transmission with automatic power saving, and per-packet power control. Combined with a high-performance power supply, it delivers high-speed wireless access while saving up to 25% power.
Industry-Leading Local Routing Technology
Using local routing technology, the RG-AP530-I AP offloads traffic from wireless AC controllers. In collaboration with Ruijie RG-WS Wireless AC, users can pre-configure a routing mode for the AP. The AP decides whether data should be forwarded to the AC based on SSID or VLAN, or directly sent to the wired network. This reduces traffic load on controllers and efficiently handles large-scale, latency-sensitive, real-time transmission over 802.11n networks.
Extensive QoS Policies
The RG-AP530-I AP supports a wide range of QoS policies. It enables bandwidth limitations and different priorities for various services in WLAN/AP/STA modes and Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM). It ensures timely and accurate transmission of voice and video, guaranteeing seamless multimedia performance. The AP supports multicast-to-unicast conversion for wireless Video on Demand (VoD) systems, solving video interruption issues due to packet loss or latency, significantly enhancing the user experience.
Intelligent Wireless Experience
Despite interference from overlapping APs, the RG-AP530-I AP reduces wait times among competing downstream users for packet transmission, ensuring high-speed wireless performance. It also resolves issues such as high latency and low network speeds caused by legacy wireless LAN cards being distant from the AP. Packet scheduling ensures fair high-speed access for all users while improving overall AP efficiency.
Smart Device Identification
Deployed with Ruijie Wireless ACs, the RG-AP530-I AP intelligently identifies device types and presents adaptive portal authentication pages. Smart device identification eliminates manual screen adjustment, saving approximately 10 seconds for faster wireless access. This technology supports all major smart device OSs, including Apple iOS, Android, and Windows.

Remote Intelligent Sensing Technology (RIPT)
In traditional networks managed centrally by ACs, APs forward packets to the AC before transmission. If the AC fails, APs stop functioning, disrupting the entire wireless network. Ruijie’s RIPT enables the RG-AP530-I AP to detect AC failure and switch to smart mode, ensuring high availability and continuous wireless connectivity.
Intelligent Load Balancing
In high-density wireless LANs, the RG-AP530-I AP collaborates with Ruijie Wireless ACs to distribute users across APs in real time based on user count and data traffic. This balances load on each AP, improving average bandwidth and QoS while enhancing network availability.
Seamless Roaming Experience
The RG-AP530-I AP works seamlessly with RG-WS wireless ACs, allowing wireless users to roam across Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks without packet loss or interruption.
Wireless IPv6 Access
The RG-AP530-I AP fully supports IPv6 and facilitates wireless transmission over IPv6 networks. Both IPv4 and IPv6 users connect to ACs via tunnels, enabling IPv6 applications over wireless networks.
