Power indicatorThe yellow LED lights up when the unit takes power and shows the supply.

Optical end careA dust cap protects the connector left open to air, and regular cleaning keeps the optical face clean.

The LED in the transmitter unit emits invisible infrared radiation; looking directly into the optical connector without a fiber attached harms the retina.
