For text-based management, the ISW-1022MT series can be accessed via Telnet and a console port. The ISW-1022MT series has 2 built-in mini-GBIC slots and supports 1000Base-SX/LX and WDM SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) fiber optic modules. This allows the administrator to adjust the appropriate SFP transceiver not only for signal distance but also for signal type. The distance can be set from 550m (with multi-mode fiber) or up to 10/20/30/40/50/70/120 kilometers (with Single-Mode fiber or WDM fiber).
