RS232 Line Signal Repeater
The ATC-155 is an RS-232 photoelectric isolation line driver, transceiver, or line repeater. It can provide optical isolation for RS-232 communication and extend the asynchronous communication distance between two devices up to 12 km.
By adopting photoelectric isolation technology, both ends of the RS-232 device are completely isolated from power and ground loops. This protects communication equipment from power ground loop interference and surge damage, significantly improving the stability and reliability of the communication system.
Because the RS-232 interface path changes from single-ended transmission to differential transmission, the communication distance is greatly increased. The ATC-155 can be used for interface protection or distance extension in asynchronous point-to-point RS-232 communication lines.
Compact in size, the ATC-155 requires no external power supply and no special cable requirements. It can be directly plugged into the RS-232 interface of the device, making it highly convenient to use.
