Converts an RS-232 serial port to 3.3 V TTL/CMOS levels

An interface converter that sits between an RS-232 port and 3.3 V TTL/CMOS interface equipment. It converts transmit (TD) and receive (RD) data between the EIA/TIA RS-232-C and TTL/CMOS standards, and serves on point-to-point or point-to-multipoint data buses for the close control of MCU and TTL interface devices.
