RS232 - RS422/485 Converter 2500V
The ATC-107 Isolation Interface Converter is compatible with RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 standards, and can convert a single-ended RS-232 signal into a balanced RS-422 or RS-485 signal. The built-in photoelectric isolator provides up to 2500V isolation voltage, while the fast Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) effectively protects against lightning and ESD, preventing surge damage and common-mode interference.
Connect a PC, IPC, or notebook computer to the RS-232 interface through a DB9 female connector, and connect the RS-422 or RS-485 side via the appropriate 4-bit terminal block. The RS-485 interface supports two-wire half-duplex communication.
The internal circuit of the ATC-107 can automatically detect data direction and switch control without any handshake signals, enabling the creation of an RS-485 network with fully transparent communication and no need for software modification to existing RS-232-based systems.
The ATC-107 provides reliable point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication. It allows the connection of up to 32 RS-422 or RS-485 devices with a data transfer rate up to 115.2 Kbps. The dual-color data flow indicator LEDs display operational and fault status.
Supports communication modes including RS-232C to RS-422 and RS-232C to RS-485 conversion.
