A fiber media converter supplied as a pair of transmitter and receiver units. It turns the analog video signal into a digital one and transmits 2 video channels together with 1 data channel over the same fiber link.

Channel configurationThe transmitter and receiver pair carries 2 video channels together with 1 data channel.

Fiber interfaceIt reaches 0 ~ 2 km over multi mode fiber and works with FC, SC and ST connector types.

Video interfaceIt uses a BNC 75 Ω unbalanced interface, applies 10 bit digital conversion across 5 ~ 8 MHz of bandwidth and holds a signal-to-noise ratio above 80 dB.

Data interfaceA Phoenix terminal carries the RS232 and RS-422/485 protocols at 0 ~ 115200 bps, and the RS-422/485 distance extends to 1200 m.

Status indicatorsThe P, F, D and V1 - V2 LEDs show the state of power, fiber, data and video signals.

Power and environmentIt runs on DC +5 V / 2 A power or an AC 90-260 V input and operates from -40 °C to 85 °C at 5% ~ 90% non-condensing humidity.

Manufacturer note: Multi-mode fiber transmission is generally not recommended because its expansion capacity is limited; in the long run single-mode fiber brings lower cost and longer transmission distance.
