Triggers the fire alarm loop by hand.
A manual call point used in conventional fire detection systems. It ties into a two-wire, polarity-free loop and runs on a supply between DC 16 V and DC 28 V. Pressing the button closes a manual contact and the panel moves to visual alarm.
Two-wire, polarity-free wiringJoins the loop without regard to polarity and rules out reversed connections.
Manual contactThe pressed contact reports the alarm straight to the panel with no intermediate circuit.
Low current drawDraws 200 µA on standby and 260 µA in alarm, protecting the power budget on long loops.
EMC resiliencePasses electromagnetic interference testing and runs steadily next to power cabling.
Corrosion-resistant contactsThe contact material resists acid and rust, and the base screws stay tight.
