The MFB Series consists of SFP Fast Ethernet transceivers that can be installed in PLANET Switch and Media Converter products through the 100Base-FX SFP interface. These transceivers support deployment distances ranging from 2km (Multi-Mode, LC) to 60km (Single-Mode, LC).
The MFB modules are hot-swappable and hot-pluggable, meaning users can insert or remove them from any SFP slot without powering down the switch or media converter. This ensures minimal disruption during maintenance or upgrades.
MFB-T Series – Extended Temperature SFP Transceivers for Industrial Use
The MFB-T Series 100Base-FX transceivers are ideal for industrial-grade equipment that requires extended operating temperature ranges (-40°C to 75°C). Designed to endure harsh electrical and environmental conditions, these modules provide a stable and reliable 100Base-FX fiber connection.
The transmission distance of MFB-T modules ranges from 2km (Multi-Mode, LC) to 20km (Single-Mode, LC), making them suitable for industrial environments where long-range, high-reliability connections are critical.
