A 433 MHz wireless data module that takes the place of a wired link. It works over a half-duplex channel and suits multipoint communication. An existing RS-232, RS-485 or TTL link moves to wireless with no software change.
Wireless channelIt uses FSK and GFSK modulation. Channel and interface baud rate run from 1200 bps to 19200 bps.
Working schemeThe master station steers the traffic, and a slave station answers only the frame whose address code matches its own. One module transmits at a time, so the channel never collides.
Serial interfaceIt accepts RS-232, RS-485 and UART/TTL level links, and connects straight to computers and RS-485 equipment.
Data formatIt supports the 8E1, 8N1 and 8O1 data formats.
PowerIt runs on 9 – 12 V DC and draws 200 mA.
Housing and environmentDIN-rail mounting, 1 mm metal housing, 0.6 kg weight and 100 mm x 86 mm x 26 mm dimensions. It operates from -20°C to 70°C.
