Upgraded from the NF-8601, the NF-8601S provides full cable testing for network, coaxial, or telephone cables of different categories. Its smart cable mapping feature tests for length, shorts, and split pairs, or displays the fault location via an intuitive graphical interface (using TDR technology: Time Domain Reflectometry). Additionally, it can locate and trace cables more easily with an AC filter or find network ports using the hub blink feature. It can also test for the presence of PoE and PING functions, making it an indispensable tool for any network technician.
