RS232 - RS485 Data Converter
The ATC-106/106N interface converter transmits RS–232C serial port data (TD) and receives data (RD) through a two-wire balanced half-duplex RS-485 signal. It is the ideal choice for remote control devices or point-to-multipoint communication buses.
The interface converter does not require an AC/DC adapter — it can draw power directly from the RS-232 port through Transmit Data (TD), Request to Send (RTS), or Data Terminal Ready (DTR) lines.
It also features Automatic Data Transmission Line Control: when data is sent or received, no RTS control is needed. This allows for power supply and automatic flow control directly from the serial port — with no need for hardware reset or software modification.
Enhanced surge protection ensures the safe operation of the RS-485 network.
